The Difference between the 3rd and 2nd Grade |
The 3rd and 2nd grade hold the most test-takers in all grades, and there are many companies which set a condition on application as having of the bookkeeping above 3rd or 2nd grade. In the 3rd grade, you can learn basic knowledge about money flow for personal entrepreneurs, while the 2nd grade teaches you basic knowledge about management of money in companies.
The Official Business Skill Test of Bookkeeping has the 4th and 1st grade as well, but it is general to start learning with the 3rd grade for even absolute beginners, and the 1st one is for people who aim to become specialists in accounting and finance.
In short, it is the best to gain the 3rd or the 2nd grade if you want to learn common knowledge of money or use it for job hunting.

Date of Exam and Pass Mark |
It holds exams three times a year: February, June, and November.
The 3rd grade starts at 9 a.m., and the 2nd one starts at 1:30 p.m. You can take the both exams of 2nd and 3rd grade in a day.
The pass mark is 70, and all test-takers who scored it or above can receive the credential.
※The date of the exams and pass mark is common between the 3rd and 2nd grade.
